From 1995 until the UBS/SBV merger in 1998, SBC Equity Partners was the division of the Swiss Bank Corporation for investments in Europe. After the UBS/SBC merger, Capvis Equity Partners emerged as part of the UBS private equity organisation (UBS Capital) and was responsible for the Swiss and Austrian market.
